About the Interactive Media Awards
Based in New York, the Interactive Media Awards are open to an international audience and recognize the highest standards of excellence in website design and development and honor individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievement. The ‘Best in Class Award’ is the highest accolade awarded and demonstrates our ability to produce world-class work for our clients.
Triumph International Australia engaged Kintek to develop a facebook application called the ‘LOVE LUXURY COMPETITION’. With four $300 prizes to giveaway, the aim of the competition was to increase their social media presence and capture customer contact data for marketing purposes.
In order to reach the largest audience possible it was important to ensure the competition was compatible with mobile phones and tablet devices as well as desktop computers.
Facebook applications currently only work on desktop computers, so to get around this we sliced the design using a ‘responsive design’ technique which enabled us to optimise the competition page designs for mobiles, tablets and desktop devices.
We also provided a trackable QR code to enable customers to scan and enter the competition in-store via their mobile phone. Users on Facebook entered the competition using the normal Facebook Application interface.
The competition was advertised on the Triumph International Australia website and Facebook page as well as in-store to attract the largest possible audience.
1000′s of new Facebook followers were attracted.
